The house is gorgeous, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The owner's attention to detail and warm hospitality made our stay truly memorable. The house is beautifully designed and peaceful & tranquil. The bed is really comfortable and the location was great for exploring the area by car or if walking the nakasendo. It is better in person than in the photos, it’s restored in a contemporary way with all of the amenities & a nice mix of traditional Japanese style. Tommy the host was amazing, he made us feel really welcome and was very helpful. Would definitely recommend the sushi dinner which he prepared for us.
