Beautiful property and what a stunning location, absolute gem and will return very soon as me and my partner loved everything about it. Clean, had everything you need and the views…. Wow ! Best of all were the hosts Vicki and Clint…. Salt of the earth people who went way above and beyond with us, they made our stay that little bit better than anywhere I’ve stayed. Friendly, welcoming and we even shared a drink together whilst chatting all things life. I’d urge anyone wanting a get away in Matakana and surrounding areas to book this place. Also they have the best little bunch of pugs and a stunning boxer that were so friendly and lovable

This 2 level mini house was great for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids aged 3y and 8y. Everything we needed was provided, lovely soaps. We didn't see anyone else during our stay, the scenery was lovely. I would stay here again, just need a tall fan for the upstairs bedroom as it was a bit warm.

We had a lovely stay at the Apple Cider Lodge watching the tides moving in and out, eating farmfresh eggs for breakfast, sipping cider as a sundowner and sleeping in heavenly beds. The Lodge provided everything we needed and even more (our 2.5 yo was so happy about the toys).
