Valle Verzasca is also highly recommended for a hike along the most stunning river - best to go early though as parking spaces are limited.

Also we had a great welcome by Gian Domenico who gave us the tour and some local tips for dinner, also on the second day he brought over some ventilators for us to cool down, since it was very hot, and all of this without even asking for them!

The place was spotless and finding/accessing the property was easy. Owner was communicative and kind.
