What an amazing place! Very comfortable cabin with great kitchen and bed. But the location is unbeatable. Watching the animals from your doorstep is priceless. I would not want to stay anywhere else if I go to Tortuguero.

Already the arrival was very pleasant: We were welcomed by Gabriel who picked us up from the boat and walked us to our house. The house was great! Lovely decorations, super clean, good wifi, kitchen equipped with everything you need, quiet and with green all around and right at the boarder of the National Park. Gabriel and his colleague Rodrigo gave us a little walking tour around the village with recommendations for restaurants and info/history about the town with a visit to the Turtle Museum. They were such great guys that we decided to do a Canoe tour with them the next morning and also that we enjoyed very much. Tortuguero is amazing and peaceful with its infinite beach, the canals & the park with its amazing wildlife - definitely one of our highlights of our Costa Rica trip.

Delicious breakfast, very nice and friendly host and staff, the garden is like a jungle and zoo, we breakfasted next to different animals like sloths, red eyed-tree frogs, parrots, tucans, ... ., our stay was so unforgetable!!!!

Offering an outdoor pool and water sports facilities, New Caribe Point is located in Cahuita in the Limon Region. Puerto Viejo is 14 km away. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. We got to stay in the upper unit where we could watch monkeys just a few meters away, the room ia very spacious as is the bathroom, mosquito nets everywhere, breakfast was delicious and the host is very lovely and helpful. 5min to the beach and they also have bicycles for use. Definitely recommend!

Villa Piňa dorada dependencia del hotel Casa Merlin are cazare în Puerto Viejo, la mai puțin de 1 km de Plaja Cocles și la 11 minute de mers pe jos de Centrul pentru Salvarea Jaguarilor. The owner Charlene has a lovely apartments. Our was beautiful, large, confortable, clean, the kitchen is well eqquiped. There is an hamaca to lay down and a lovely terrace to relax. Next to our apartment we also have a play ground for kids, we were travelling with kids and that was just perfect. We also hired bikes with seats , the owner helped us out to arrange the booking, she also fixed a problem with a bike that we have straight away;) Near by the minivan plyas, beaches (play cocles, chiquita)and we could also ride to Playa Uvita. Near by restaurants, supermarkets. She also washed our clothes and dry it with 6 $. We had a lovely time in here..just in the middle of the jungle..on our way we saw many animals. Thanks Charlene!!!

This was my third time staying here, second time in the studio. I have not stayed anywhere else in town since finding this place, and arranged my travel plans around when this place was available. Very nice host, lives on property, available but not intrusive. Almost daily saw a dozen or more whiteface monkeys or howler monkeys in the trees by my cabana, along with 2 agoutis. Very scenic, peaceful, away from town noise but close to town and park.

It’s my 7th visit to Puerto Viejo, since I fell in love with this place, and this was far better than anything I rented here before. It’s just something else…I guess when the plants grow higher this will look as you were living in the jungle. But even now, when it’s new, you have that experience. The breakfast is exceptional, the staff is very friendly, the manager really knows his job. I’m not sure whether I most enjoyed the early mornings, when the jungle switches on and the howler monkeys wake you up, or the evenings, for the illumination of the resort is just another experience. I like a log…it’s beautiful, amazing and outstanding, really
