For the beauty of the surroundings and the magic of the forest, I thank the creator, and for the well-being, care, and the warm welcome of the cabin, I thank the owners. We had a great time and were even fortunate enough to witness a stunning aurora!

Offering 5 log cottages by Ylläs Mountain, Tunturioravat is a 5-minute walk from central Äkäslompolo. All cottages have wooden interiors, free Wi-Fi access and a private sauna. It was very clean and comfortable. It even looked nicer in reality than in pictures. Very cozy atmosphere. Sauna was great. Good location need the skiing tracks.

The cottage is so cosy and it looks like the pictures. It's equipped with everything you need (glasses, dishes, pots, pans, spices if you want to cook). Linen and towels are provided by paying an extra, for us it wasn't a problem. We were a couple but, if you are more then two persons, the cottage has one double bed and 2 single beds. The landscape in which the house is located is breathtaking. You are in the middle of nature and this was the most important thing for us. We also saw the northern lights outside of the cottage. The owner, Riika, was always available to our requests. At our arrival we also found a chocolate box and a bottle of Glögg 😍. For us it's not the first time we travelled to Lappland but we definitely say that this one was the best holiday we had. The cottage is 35 minutes away from Kittila airport and 40/45 minutes from Levi. We will surely come back!
