Towels and bed linen are featured in the chalet. The property has an outdoor dining area. Our stay was AMAZING!! The accommodation was so comfortable, clean, and cosy. The location was great to explore the area, being close to everything we wanted to do. Katherine was so friendly and couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay was enjoyable and ensured all our needs were met. The fresh eggs provided for breakfast were delicious and such a lovely touch. The hot tub was so relaxing after a day of exploring. Our dogs also had a great time and enjoyed the outdoor space which was fenced off for them.

The hut is super nicely decorated, has everything you need and more, including some snacks provided as a nice touch. Easy to find with the owner’s directions, you feel like you are completely alone in the nature with a beautiful view, except for some cute sheep grazing around in the morning when you wake up! The Kirk Cottage offered a fantastic continental breakfast to start the day. It was great to meet and converse with fellow travelers at breakfast and hear of their adventures on the Isle of Mull. The cottage is a 2 minute walk away from a beautiful vista over looking the bay of Tobermory. The owner Allison was very accommodating and friendly. Allison offered great local knowledge and fantastic suggestions on places to visit. The only possible drawback or challenge for some would be the steep hill leading to Kirk Cottage, especially if you're walking from the bus station to the B&B. Although it wasn't an issue for us, it could be a challenge those with some physical limitations. Tobermory is a must visit and Kirk Cottage is a great place to stay. Cheers!

It is indeed an old cottage and our room looked out over the loch. The accommodations are outstanding with a well appointed bedroom and bathroom. The bed was so comfortable! There is a communal sitting room with tons of information about Scotland. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming and are very knowledgeable about Scottish history and area sights. Breakfast is served in a bright dining room overlooking the water with bird feeders attracting local birds to the garden outside. Breakfast choices were extensive and made to order. You are out in the countryside, so I recommend you have a car and the cottage does have free parking. This is the perfect way point in your travels through Scotland.
