An absolutely beautiful old family country house that has been tastefully transformed into a charming up market B&B. Mary and Raymond are delightful hosts - full of local knowledge and wonderful Irish hospitality. It really does feel like you are guests in their home. The house and location are in the heart of the countryside with lovely views. Needless to say that it is in a very quiet area and we slept beautifully! Breakfast is all home-made and cooked to perfection. Close, easy drive into Athy for dinner. Would have no hesitation to go back and stay if we were back in the beautiful area. Thanks for a wonderful stay both.

Although the bathroom was a bit small, it was reasonable considering the price.

Would highly recommend.

Ein wunderbares Ferienhaus, sehr anständige Vermieter. Das Haus ist sehr groß und gut ausgestattet. Direkt vor der Türe kann man auf dem Grundstück gut parken. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Alles ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Ich kann das Ferienhaus bedenkenlos empfehlen, für jene, die die ländliche Ruhe suchen.

I highly recommend this place as a place to stay. Located southwest of Dublin about a 60-minute drive, its location allowed us to take day trips to almost the entire country. Going north into Northern Ireland made for a 12 hour day, but was easily doable.. The owners, John and Delores, are next door. They are very friendly and have two dogs that are absolutely attention hounds. Bella, the larger one is a hoot. The cottage has two bedrooms that allow for better privacy. We watched a couple of fox play in the field.. Lots of birds provided music to drink coffee and watch the sunrise or sunset on the little patio. Little snacks were provided along with some potatoes from the owners. You have a selection of places to shop. I recommend shopping at Pettitt's suoer value for groceries qq+q+qq+and Conlons Family 7
