Bathroom had towels, shampoo and shower gel and overall very pleasent experience. We had an irish breakfast with tea and coffee, which was delicious. If I ever visited Ireland again, I would definitelly stay at the Moate Lodge. Raymond also gave us a lot of tips and info about interesting locations near there. We recommend the Lodge 10/10!

Located southwest of Dublin about a 60-minute drive, its location allowed us to take day trips to almost the entire country. Going north into Northern Ireland made for a 12 hour day, but was easily doable.. The owners, John and Delores, are next door. They are very friendly and have two dogs that are absolutely attention hounds. Bella, the larger one is a hoot. The cottage has two bedrooms that allow for better privacy. We watched a couple of fox play in the field.. Lots of birds provided music to drink coffee and watch the sunrise or sunset on the little patio. Little snacks were provided along with some potatoes from the owners. You have a selection of places to shop. I recommend shopping at Pettitt's suoer value for groceries qq+q+qq+and Conlons Family 7
