The hosts welcome you with open arms and the whole family takes time out of their day to add that much to your stay. The hosts have multiple animals (from very friendly and playful dogs to farm animals) and we got a chance to pet them all. The location is secluded in the middle of the nature, which suited us very well. There is a kitchenette to save you from having to go out to eat. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped with toiletries beyond what you'd expect.

The cottage is over 200 years old and is located on a small farm with lots of animals. The hostess was amazing. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, interesting and all around awesome. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. I was able to bottle feed a lamb and we collected fresh eggs from the hens for breakfast. We enjoyed the cottage and estate so much, we cancelled some of our plans to chill at the cottage. We hope to return in the future with extended family and rent both cottages.
