We had an excellent stay in our very large family chalet with private plunge pool. The owners are very friendly and like to accommodate you as much as possible. We had our laundry done and had a delicious dinner and royal breakfast at their restaurant. The communal pool area is also very nice. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay with Gihan and Dinu! We stayed twice for a total of 7 nights. A wonderful, authentic experience in Sri Lanka. They are extremely kind and welcoming. They speak English very well, and we were able to take the time to ask questions and discuss many topics such as culture, sports, politics, food, customs, etc. This allowed us to better understand this country. They truly care about their guests, making sure we have everything we need and giving great tips for visiting the city and its surroundings. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner if needed (we recommend trying it at least once because it's delicious). We did the cooking program, which involves buying ingredients at the market and then cooking together. It was great to see all the flavors they add to the dishes we enjoyed afterwards. They know a contact for a safari in Wilpattu National Park and can help organize it. Regarding the accommodation, it's located on a very quiet alley. There's a kitchen available and a pleasant terrace overlooking the small garden. The rooms are well-equipped and pleasant. We recommend a stay here for a wonderful human experience. Warunki bardzo komfortowe, hotel to stary kolonialny dom pięknie odnowiony! Mieliśmy prywatną łazienkę, jedyne czego mi brakowało to wieszaki lub półka w pokoju. Opiekun Janit dbał o wszystko, żebyśmy czuli się jak u siebie w domu. Janit- jesteś najlepszy!

The owner is a really nice and friendly man with a good Heart. He helped us with everything and organised Trips for a very fair price. Break-fast was great and the rooms are beautiful and Clean. Also the workers a very friendly. If you visit Sigirya you should stay at Sigirya cottage.

I’m so happy that I found this place, it was perfect in everything, location, cleanliness, breakfast and above all a very kind host. It’s few minutes walk to everything. I felt a little sad leaving the place.. will come back again next year. Cherry on top: they offer safari as well. Worth every penny.
