We had a brilliant stay at Hasthi cottage. The cottage was very spacious, clean and had a lovely outdoor bathroom and tub. Outside of the cottage was a lovely outdoor area. The cottage was near to the main road where there were some restaurants and shops. We were picked up from Mirissa and dropped off at Ella which was organised by Dasun and was a good price. In the morning we had a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast which was very filling. A laundry service is offered which we used and our clothes were returned the very next day. We went to the national park for the safari which was an amazing day. We were provided with a delicious breakfast and lunch. Our tour guide Pereira was super friendly and awnsered all our questions. He made sure we had time to watch the animals and helped us to take some incredible photos. Overall an amazing stay and would highly recommend.

Friendly couple welcomed us with a delicious welcome drink. We felt at home right away. The room had a mosquito net and quiet AC. We had to leave early and they were so kind to provide breakfast packages. It was great. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The place was very great, very beautiful garden. Very friendly and helpful family. The room is great, very quiet location, we recommend it. definitely try dinner and breakfast! The traditional dinner and breakfast were wonderful! We also booked a safari tour, the driver was amazing, he explained everything, you don’t need a guide when taking a tour from Green paradise, you can’t explain by the words how cool was it! We really enjoyed our stay here - the staff were amazing, super friendly and helped us in any way they could. The room was spacious, had a fridge and kettle and was really clean. The shower was warm and the bed was comfortable. The WiFi was also very good. We sat on the balcony for a few hours watching the sun set and the wildlife and it was so peaceful. The staff also helped us with booking the Udawalawe national park safari and even paid for a tuktuk to the bus station.
