He made us feel welcome straight away when we arrived, everything was clean, and he told us we should treat his home like our home. The property is an oasis of peace with great facilities. The kitchen is functional, there's lots to do, and Carlos even made us a fire in the evening. When we had to go to the bus terminal, Carlos cleaned out his car and drove us without complaint. The rooms are very good, and you won't find a better spot around. Carlos still texts us every week how our vacation is going and if we are doing alright. I think that says enough! Location was about 10 minute walk to the Zocalo, Cathedral, and Plaza del Jardin de las Rosas. The casa was quite large, very clean and well kept. Josefina's husband helped us with keys and explaining things. He understood a little English, but it was very easy to communicate with him. Josefina was always messaging me to explain things and to see if we needed any help with anything. We received 20 L of drinking water. Our hosts had everything we required such as coffee, sugar, spices and full kitchen with utensils and pots/pans. There is even a washing machine which came in handy. The pictures are exactly as described in the ad. We used the rooftop patio as well as the 2nd floor terrace to relax in the evening sun. We would recommend Josefina's place.
