I’d stay again in a heartbeat. The pictures don’t do it justice (the rooms are actually nicer than depicted on some of the photos!). They made our stay extra special by bringing treats to celebrate my mom’s birthday and Mother’s Day. We so much appreciate all the kindness and these sweet little gestures.

This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 6 km from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views. Great place with plenty to do! We were a group of 7 and the facilities gave us space to be together and also relax separately. The hot springs, drinks, and pool slide were the highlights, while two of the group loved the Zipline. Breakfast and service were excellent, and check-in and parking were smooth.

Situated on the banks of River Baru, Hotel Villas Río Mar is also within a walking distance of 900 metres from the Village of Dominical. Amazing property with lots of wildlife without even having to leave the hotel grounds. Restaurant was really good and the included breakfast was amazing.

Discover the charm of Hotel Secreto La Fortuna, a quiet retreat in the heart of Fortuna, Costa Rica. Loved it here! Breakfast was great and loved when the fed the birds in the morning. It was a meal with a show. So many amazing colorful birds. The location is great. It's an easy walk into town, but far enough from the center that it's not too loud. Our rooms were comfortable. They aren't super modern, but were good. The pool was very refreshing and generally we didn't have difficulty finding a place to relax by the pool. The staff were all very helpful and kind. We were very lucky that 3 of the 4 days we were there, we could see the arenal volcano. The first day it was completely covered with clouds, but it eventually came out! Great view from the pool

Great hotel with a lovely pool area and abundance of wildlife. Also very comfortable rooms set in lovely gardens. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is only a short distance from Puerto Viejo town and easy by tuktuk or bike.

Located in La Fortuna town, San Bosco Inn offers an outdoor pool and lush gardens, free Wi-Fi in public areas and rooms with garden views. The Arenal Volcano is 5 km away. Great location — everything is close by: shops, restaurants, and convenient infrastructure. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help with anything. I had a very positive experience, and the price was affordable.

Big and convenient apartment. Nice pool. Super friendly staff that even prepared a very tasty breakfast for us at 5am.

Offering outdoor pool and a hot tub, Hotel Roca Negra Del Arenal is located in the suburbs of Fortuna. Free Wi-Fi access is available. The best hotel we’ve been in Costa Rica! Full of nature around and with a breathtaking volcano’s view, this place made our experience in La Fortuna even more amazing. Everything was very clean and spacious, with a great balcony facing the gardens and the volcano. The staff is super sweet and helpful, always smiling and willing to help.
