This was our favourite hotel so far on our trip. Location a few steps to the River or a short walk to the historic centre of town was perfect. And yet the rooms were super quiet. Breakfast was included and was extensive and varied every day. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We highly recommend!

Breakfast was good, if a little poor on choice. More than enough to get started though, and the convenience of having it delivered to the room (as well as the wide range of times available to have it delivered) vastly outweighed any shortcomings of the breakfast itself.

We only stayed one night, but wish we could have stayed longer. We loved the beautiful park like grounds, our spacious room, and the very private spa.

The hotel was so cute. The decor was great, the room was clean, and it was very quiet so we had a great night's rest. The location was perfect, right in the center of the village. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh in the gorgeous dining room.

Staying at this hotel exceeded my expectations. I am most impressed with the staff. During our stay we decided to leave the city and spend a couple of days on the beach. The lady at the reception, Sara Fundo, made numerous phone calls (on a Sunday!) and organized a swap between Pestana Hotel in Lisbon with Pestana in Alvor for a couple of nights, without us paying a cent. Overall, the hotel is very clean and well maintained. As I already mentioned, the staff is exceptional. The location is great, right in the center of the city and close to numerous landmarks.
