They went above and beyond, do not hesitate to stay here, dont bother looking anywhere else, this is the place to stay, the rooms are immaculate, they washed our clothes, prepared our food which tasted phenomenal, I dream about the tilapia! They went all out for my husbands birthday, arranged for halal meat! Wow! Couldn't believe it! Best hotel ive ever stayed in, truly and I have travelled the world, they even organised our tour for the national park, exceptional! Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone! Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart!

We’re so happy we chose Akagera Ihema Lodges for our stay near the park. The view over the lake is simply unbeatable, and the setup of the cottage—with its walk-in shower and peaceful surroundings—made it the perfect place to relax. A big thank you to the amazing staff, who took such great care of us. They prepared breakfast boxes early in the morning for our game drives and served delicious meals each evening. Their kindness and attention to detail really made our stay special. Although we spent three nights here, we feel like we barely scratched the surface of how beautiful and peaceful this place is. We’d love to come back and enjoy it even more.

Overnatningsstedet ligger ca. lovely stay, with lovely hosts who went out of their way to be friendly, kind, and helpful. the place is serene, perfect for working in Kigali. the room is basic and functional, while the gardens surrounding simply invite you to sit and work and rest. visitors should kno that there is no meal plan, but it is possible to order, each day, delicious meals prepared by the hosts.

The hotel’s large garden is a highlight—an inviting and cozy space where you’ll find the restaurant, bar, and seating areas, as well as a playground for kids. It’s a perfect place to relax, and it’s no surprise that the restaurant is a popular spot among expats. What truly sets this boutique hotel apart is its exceptional, personalized service. From the moment you arrive, you are treated not just as a guest, but as part of the family. Christine and Hugh, the owners, go above and beyond to ensure you feel welcome. Every time they see you, they take a moment to check in, share recommendations, and engage in warm, friendly conversations. Their passion for hospitality is truly remarkable. The entire staff is just as wonderful as the owners. A special mention to Sierra at the restaurant and the friendly reception team, who made every interaction a pleasure. If you're looking for a warm and personal experience, Nature Kigali is the perfect choice. I have never experienced such hospitality anywhere else. My nicest memories from Kigali are connected to this hotel.

Nyungwe Hill View Hotel ligger i Rwumba, 24 km fra Nyungwe Nationalpark, og har en have, en terrasse og en restaurant samt gratis privat parkering. Perched on a hill with a panoramic view of Nyungwe forest, this is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding national park. The pictures online don’t do this place justice! We had a wonderful stay for 2 nights here - from a delicious welcome drink on our arrival to cleaning our boots after a days hiking and hot water bottles in the beds at night, the staff were all excellent! The food was great and we were offered a choice of taking our breakfast early before chimpanzee tracking or taking it to go - normally packed hotel breakfasts are disappointing but this was one of the best - freshly prepared fruit, pizza, cookies and cakes - it was delicious and perfect after a mornings hiking! If you are coming to Nyungwe Forest National Park (which is a must if you visit Rwanda!) then you absolutely have to stay here! Thank you to all of the staff who made our time here special!

The heart and soul is truly the staff. Joelle, the manager, is an absolute a gem! The food is delicious, Jean is an incredible chef who goes out of his way to accommodate special requests and comes out and helps make your dining experience special. There’s truly nothing like this property. It’s a home they turned into a hotel and it’s so intimate. We will definitely be back!!

Our room was comfortable, featuring a panoramic view, a private terrace, and a unique outdoor shower. ​This is a truly positive and life-affirming destination that respects its ecological surroundings. It's a place worth staying at for several days to fully appreciate its charm and natural beauty.
