Beautiful rooms, good bed, excellent and friendly service from the staff. Would certainly recommend Casa Foch. Very nice restaurants and coffee shops around. Never felt unsafe. Just FYI…let the hot water run for quite a while before it turns hot!

The whole hotel is so characterful, which is unsurprising given its age and location in the old town. It's like living in a palatial museum. The staff were polite, kind and attentive, notably the old woman serving breakfast who brought me a herbal infusion when she learned that my stomach was upset. The airport transfer service was at a fair price and very efficient.

From the moment you arrive, you are looked after exceptionally well. The staff here are just magnificent and will do anything to help you with whatever you need. What a joy! The rooms are spectacular, the views are spectacular, the beds are so wildly comfortable you could sleep for days. For a large hotel, the Mercure Alameda was very friendly. The staff were extremely helpful and professional. We had a small suite which was quiet and spacious. Perfect for the last day of our travels. The breakfast choice was extensive and the food was. We enjoyed using the rooftop spa.
