After warming up well in the sauna, it's worth taking a quick dip in the icy waters of Lake St. Wolfgang, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. We loved the hotel’s unique style. Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. I loved EVERYTHING about this hotel. It was so clean and the staff was just the best. The hotel is located 2-3 min from the Boat station (to the train station). The bathroom is exceptional, the restaurant is very good and overall the best hotel in Hallstatt!
