The hotel is beautifully and centrally located with a view over Wolfgangsee. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The host is very welcoming and gave us great suggestions for activities. We really liked the atmosphere at the hotel too — it felt very homely and personal, unlike big chain hotels. We also really enjoyed the private lakeside garden, which was a perfect spot for sunbathing and taking a refreshing dip in the lake.

The windows offer peaceful, breathtaking views. The SPA area is a true relaxation haven—comfortable, professional, and beautifully designed. After warming up well in the sauna, it's worth taking a quick dip in the icy waters of Lake St. Wolfgang, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. We loved the hotel’s unique style. It’s not just a place to stay but an experience we’ll always remember and want to return to.

The Hotel Weisser Hirsch is an oasis of relaxation in the heart of St. Wolfgang, directly on the shores of Lake Wolfgang. It offers a private lake access and free Wi-Fi. The location, the staff, the breakfasts, the green focus, were outstanding.

Free WiFi, an indoor swimming pool, a steam bath, and a sauna is provided at Dormio Resort Obertraun, 300 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. Excellent! Super nice place to stay. Great location, lots of activities to do nearby. Great views of the mountains.

Pension Bergfried is located in Hallstatt, 150 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. It offers functionally furnished rooms, some with a balcony. If you come to Hallstad by car, this hotel is for you! The location of the hotel is excellent, from the window we could see the salt mine, the historical part is just around the corner. The staff is very welcoming and was able to resolve the issue since we did not specify a child and our room was not designed for three. The problem has been resolved, but this can be critical if the hotel does not have additional options, so be sure to inform the hotel about this if you are planning a trip with a child.
