The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Quiet location, but close to all the activities. Easy drive to Garmisch, Neuschwanstein, and Oberammergau. Very friendly staff! On our first night, we were welcomed with complimentary slices of homemade cake delivered to our room. Large breakfast buffet with lots of choices of meats, cheese, veg, fruit, pastries, pretzels, and eggs.

The 4-star superior hotel has been family-run since 1634 and offers an indoor swimming pool, various saunas, steam baths, a children's playground and a cosy lounge. Great hotel! This was our second booking. Excellent room size and facilities! Child friendly! Spa area for families (with clothes) but also for adults only. Big pool and Jacuzzi. Playroom with pool table and other games Excellent food incl. the menu for the kids! The location is great. The mountains are close by as well. Very recommended hotel!

The whole experience starts with a scenic view in a cable car, then we had a great dinner and got to enjoy the outdoor pool and spa. The room was big and cozy, modern and had a huge terrace. The restaurant staff was super friendly.

There are two supermarkets with a walking distance, and the bus stops right in front of the hotel.

A fost una dintre cele mai reușite cazări de care am avut parte . Hotelul este o combinație perfectă de modern și tradițional cu toate dotările necesare pentru ca turiștii să se simtă mai mult decât confortabil. Camera a fost mare , curată , cu un pat deosebit de mare în care am dormit ca-n rai . Micul dejun a fost excelent și ne-a făcut să începem perfect fiecare nouă zi cu o combinație de produse de foarte bună calitate pentru toate gusturile . Putem spune ca este un festin culinar. Minibarul gratuit a fost un deliciu la sosire cat și la fiecare revenire la hotel pe inserat .

Our room was big, beautiful and with a beautiful view to the alps. We also used the sauna and we ate at restaurant and drank the bier they produce. I loved it all. It is near everything. You can walk to the best shops and restaurants.

This hotel features Alpine-style rooms, suites and studios with free internet access and a spa with swimming pools. It is located in the Bavarian winter sports resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The staff is in a very natural warm way helpful and kind. They really make you feel welcome. Incredible breakfast. One of the best so far.
