Located in the heart of the Hunter Valley with views of the Brokenback Ranges, Peppers Hunter Valley - formerly Grand Mercure offers self-contained apartments with free WiFi. Being a self-contained apartment was great as gave us more space, being a family of 4. Had kitchen and laundry so all we needed - and lovely views. Wished we had stayed longer!

It is clean, bright, spacious and also situated at a quiet location. Very suitable for a big family (we were travelling as a family of 8). The living room floor length window looks out to a serene view, a grassy hillside with a pond that often have visits from kangaroos, ducks and other birds. The owner is also very friendly and kind.

Everything was even better than we expected. Very welcoming hosts. Breakfast and dinner were really delicious and wine also! Room was clean and bed comfortable. Our weekend was perfect, thank you Evelyn and Stuart! I would give 11/10 stars if possible.

Berenbell Vineyard Retreat si trova a Pokolbin, nella regione New South Wales, a 10 km da Hunter Valley Gardens. We had a fantastic stay at the Berenbell Vineyard Retreat! Suzie + Ken were very warm and friendly hosts. The grounds are spacious and very well maintained. Our cottage was comfortably furnished and very private. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the great view from our patio. We could even see wallabies and kangaroos. We would book again anytime. Highly recommend!

Situato su un crinale affacciato sulla pittoresca catena dei monti Brokenback, l’H Boutique Hotel si trova accanto all’azienda vinicola Bimbadgen, e offre ville fornite di camino confortevole e patio... As like for other wine regions we tried to find a hotel with a winery in walking distance. This one is about 500m from Bimbadgen Estate, which features a high quality restaurant, a cellar door and a pizzeria, and we made use of all of that. We had a friendly welcome at H Boutique Hotel (also by some roos, which enjoyed the rain), and got a big room, in fact it's an apartment with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room and a terrace. There's of course ample parking. Next to the reception there's an interesting shop / bar / cellar door... don't know what to call it, but we enjoyed a nice cheese and wine tasting there, and the next day a breakfast too (it's not open every day though, but we were lucky). It was perfect for the rainy day we had on arrival. Apart from the winery you can walk to, you're very close by car to every other Hunter Valley attraction and winery.
