I saw some coplains about the location because it's uphill but it's a short walk, taxi costs just a few bolivianos and the view from kitchen/terrace is great. It's also clean and quite. The room was spacious and comfortable. Common area was really nice.

Situated in Sucre, El Hotel de Su Merced is 1 km from Bolivar Park and features various facilities, such as a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. It is an old colonial property that has been renovated keeping its colonial ambiance with care and taste, converted into a hotel with fresh smelling rooms disposed around a bright courtyard, in such a way there is no street noise. From our room with a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom we were greeted every morning with the sight of the red rooftops of the city and its churches. The white walls of the hotel reflect the whiteness of the city, in the style of southern Spain and the Greek islands. Breakfast is ample and varied, wifi is excellent (over 25 Mbps), staff attentive and even the owner can be seen at times at breakfast. This is the hotel to stay in Sucre.

Featuring a common kitchen with an Andean stone oven, a courtyard, and an art gallery, CasArte Takubamba B&B offers accommodations in the centre of Sucre. We had a nice double with bath that was very clean. It is a lovely place with a nice garden where we met lots of travellers. The staff were very nice and helpful. The owners had a special event for todos Santos where we made t'anta Wawa bread with others that was very fun.

Set in a colonial style building dating back to the 18th Century, Parador Santa Maria La Real offers stylish rooms with private balconies, only 1 block from 25 de Mayo Square. The ambience, restaurant, friendly staff, and the owner personally took us for a tour to the entire location. The experiment was amazing.

In downtown Sucre, Villa Antigua is set in a colonial mansion with documented history going back to the XVI century. Good location. Close to main plaza. Beautiful interior courtyard. Helpful staff. Excellent breakfast!
