Not flash but really friendly and best breakfast we’ve had in 2 weeks. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - even sorted a breakfast box for us at 3am.

Loved it. Perfect location next to a Teleférico station that takes you right to city centre. Staff were awesome, and thanks Carla for getting us the perfect room. She took extra time to do so. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had at a hotel. We could have spent a week here.

They also offer a boxed breakfast if you need to depart before breakfast time. At the end of our stay, when our early morning flight was canceled after we arrived at the airport, we returned and spent the entire day in the peaceful hotel lobby—a true blessing and a great oasis to figure out our next steps. Tip: Rooms on the 2nd floor are quieter.

La Casona Hotel Boutique features a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in La Paz. The hotel staff are all so helpful, thoughtful and extremely polite. My friend and I stayed at the hotel twice during our trip to La Paz and also upon our return from Uyuni Salt Flat. I have the most comfortable stay during my trip to Bolivia. And it was made possible by the wonderful team of staff especially Belen and Angel. They are exceptional! When we had to take a very early flight to Uyuni, Belen made sure that we had our breakfast prepared so that we could take it with us on the way to the airport. And we had a very nice dinner at the restaurant too and the staff are all very lovely and warm to us. The housekeeping team did a great job too in delivering high standards of making the room very neat and tidy. The location is unbeatable being right next to The Witches Market, and you can find lots of nice restaurants and shops and with easy access to the cable car station nearby the hotel. The hotel has really exceeded my expectations and making my La Paz moments super enjoyable!

Nice, welcoming place! We stayed there several times (as you don‘t really manage not to travel via La Paz when you visit different places in Bolivia). Always left parts of our luggage there (free of charge). Breakfast was good (I can’t understand the people complaining about having to pay for eggs in previous reviews - it’s super cheap, so what’s the problem?).
