The lady in reception went with the taxi to pick us up at the airport at 5am! The area is a bit far from the Center but once you get the hang of it you can use public transportation. It's a very quiet and safe area. The hotel is comfortable and very quiet. The hot water is abundant! The view from our room was beautiful! We liked it.

They also offer a boxed breakfast if you need to depart before breakfast time. At the end of our stay, when our early morning flight was canceled after we arrived at the airport, we returned and spent the entire day in the peaceful hotel lobby—a true blessing and a great oasis to figure out our next steps. Tip: Rooms on the 2nd floor are quieter.

La Casona Hotel Boutique features a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in La Paz. Super little hotel. Well located in the centre of town, 5 minutes easy walk to the cable cars to take you everywhere in La Paz. Beautifully decorated. Great on site restaurant and really good breakfast served up on the roof. Small bar. Laundry service. Staff were amazing - Belen and Angel made our stay. They were so happy, helpful and great fun! Would highly recommend.
