When we came through the front door we were greeted by Vittorio, the owner and proprietor. As requested by the sign, we removed our street shoes and walked into an immaculately clean and inviting environment. The entire bed and breakfast is thoughtfully decorated and very warm. Vittorio took us to our room and provided us with information about the bed and breakfast. The room was very nice, complete with a comfortable mattress and a very nice bathroom. We stayed there 3 nights and, therefore, we enjoyed 3 distinctly different and delicious breakfasts. After learning that my wife is lactose intolerant he purchased lactose-free milk to make her scrambled eggs on the second day. Vittorio is an exceptionally considerate host. We highly recommend you stay at the Century House Bed and Breakfast when visiting Ottawa. You'll be most pleased.

Upon check-in, guests must provide photo ID and a bank issued credit card for a pre-authorization of room and tax charges, as well as $100. for security. Staff was incredibly kind at all times. The appartment was really big and comfortable. The size of the bathroom was large enough to put all things I need. There was a nice terrace. The kitchen has coffee maker and microwave oven. The reward system to promote not to clean the room all days is appealing. You also have the option to have breakfast. You can eat some fruit and dairy products, muffins and bread, cereals and commercial juicies. There is also a small bag with a bottle of water and a few snacks to take away. The area has many restaurants and shops, so it is plenty of people until late

Set in a restored jailhouse, this Ottawa hostel is adjacent to the Ottawa Convention Centre and Rideau Centre Mall. It features rooms with free Wi-Fi and serves a daily continental breakfast. Everything was fine. It was a great and interesting experience. Thanks for the tour, it was very informative❤️

This 4-star hotel is located in downtown Ottawa and features a state-of-the-art gym. The hotel is 15 minutes' walk from Parliament Hill. The room was very clean and comfortable, and staff was nice and friendly. Great location!

The Lord Elgin Hotel is a classic and charming old school hotel close to the sites, restaurants and coffee shops in Ottawa. We've stayed at the Lord Elgin Hotel a few times when seeing family in the area and always have a lovely stay here.

This Ottawa hotel is in the ByWard Market area, within a 10-minute walk of the National Gallery of Canada. The hotel offers rooms with a microwave and mini fridge. Clean, nicely decorated room, with some sort of a Victorian vibe. Comfortable bed, good wifi; balcony - although it's usually cold and snowy outside at this time of the year - was a big plus. The breakfast was up to expectations as well. The gentleman at the reception kindly offered us both a free room upgrade and an early chek-in (although initially we only planned to leave our luggages, as we arrived more than an hour before the check-in time, Canada most likely being one of the countries with the atest check-in hours on the planet), which we much appreciated. The hotel itself - a nice brick-clad building on a rather quiet street - is within walking distance of both the main attractions and an underground train station (very convenient to those who reach the city by means of public transportation). Last but not least, we found some decent restaurants nearby.
