The location is pretty much out of the way - and, frankly, the town of Cangas de Narcea is not especially interesting. However, the Parador is lovely - we liked everything about it - it's what you would expect from a Parador. So, if you want to chill out in beautiful surroundings ( the countryside is spectacular) this is the place to visit and stay in.

Exceptional! Nicely located in the heart of the town. The rooms were spacious and the beds perfect for sleeping in! Very clean and highly recommended!

Everything very clean, modern room and bathroom. The room skylight made the room nice and bright, and when the skylight shade was closed the room was nice and dark. Room had a mini fridge (with a small bottle of water) in the wardrobe. Spare blanket, jug, herbal teas provided. Towels, soap, shower gel and shampoo provided. I used the correos luggage transfer service which went well. Great location on the Camino del norte (about 3 blocks from tourist info centre and only a few hundred metres to rejoin the camino trail). Wifi and TV worked well. Hot shower with great water pressure. Room had a little desk and chair.

Hotel Rural Playa de Aguilar is located in Muros de Nalón, 1 km from Playa de Aguilar Beach. This charming hotel is set in a colonial house surrounded by gardens. Everything about the hotel was well organized, efficient and welcoming. The resteraunt was excellent with attentive staff and great food

Overlooking the Navia River, Naviega Guest House is just 500 metres from the centre of the village of Navia. A small beach surrounded by pine trees on the Asturian Coast is 2.5 km away. We had a fantastic stay at this boutique hotel in a beautiful location beside the river. At Casona Naviega a lot of thought and care has gone into ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with lovely décor and pretty surroundings beside the river. Antonio is a super host, always ensuring we were well taken care of and on hand with local knowledge to recommend places to visit in the area. The buffet breakfast was a real treat, offering a wide selection to choose from, both hot and cold dishes. Little extra touches like complimentary coffee and cakes laid out in the library in the afternoon added to our positive experience. On-site parking was really convenient too. Above all, for the quality and service provided, the value was outstanding. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area. Well done Antonio & Team – we will definitely return. Offering sea views and rooms with free Wi-Fi, Hotel La Colina is set on the edge of Gijón’s Providencia Park. Set 5 km from the city centre, it is just 200 metres from Serín Beach. Wonderful relaxing gem of a hotel, with spectacular views of the Spanish coastline. Lovely, comfortable and clean corner room with views of pastoral landscape and the sea. Welcoming, friendly staff. We highly recommend this hotel. We rented a car from Bilbao and the drive was easy and uncomplicated.
