We came on a Friday evening and the pub/restaurant filled with a lively crowd of young and old, enjoying a good chat, the tasty food, playing darts...interaction was easy and we had fun playing Pool. Good parking, rooms were very clean, great beds, good shower, very nice breakfast, and we got a wealth of useful information on what to do in the region. Forgot an item in our room - it was kept safe until we went back a week later and could pick it up!

The room was fantastic and the staff at the hotel were lovely. They made excellent recommendations and were always happy to help.

This small hotel truly exceeded all expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the warm and inviting Christmas decor, which added a delightful festive touch. The personal attention to detail was evident everywhere. My room had a Mediterranean theme—beautiful, unique, and designed with care. The fridge was stocked with an incredible variety of breakfast items: salami, bacon, cheese, yogurt, milk, fruits, Actimel, butter, cream cheese, cheese sticks, juices, water, croissants, chocolate croissants, biscuits, coffee, tea—you name it! It was absolutely amazing, and everything was refilled promptly upon request. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the bathroom boasted a truly special design that added to the charm of the stay. The TV even had a Netflix account ready to use. A special shoutout to Philip, who was an outstanding host! The entire family is incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring that every guest feels right at home. The communication was seamless and always pleasant. Philip responded immediately to any questions or needs, offering help and information that made the experience even better. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. I can’t recommend this place highly enough—it’s a gem! The location was also fantastic—close to two supermarkets and several restaurants, and only a 22-minute walk to the university.

The hotel is slightly older decor, very clean, bed was comfy and facilities were excellent. It has a family run feel with really welcoming staff. The breakfast was fresh, well cooked and lots of it. I would definitely stay here again.

I loved the restaurant. We had the best meal of our trip to Wales here. Breakfast was outstanding. Great table service, drink top ups. Loved the hospitality. The town is lovely as well. Parking lot behind the hotel.
