This unique 18th-century inn is situated between Winchester Cathedral and the college, tucked away in the quietest corner of the city. The city-centre is a 5-minute walk away. Everything about this place is first rate. The room was well supplied with a quality, super comfortable bed. The food was also excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. The location next to the Cathedral and downtown Winchester was also great.

Everything was perfect. The furnishings were very restful, the colour scheme perfect. Bed was very comfortable indeed. Easy entry, easy to understand instruction how to enter property.

The Plough Itchen Abbas is a charming property with a riverside village setting, just 15 minutes’ drive from Winchester. This beautiful inn features a restaurant and bar. We loved the location, the charm, our room, the staff Andy the food!

As the other reviews said, the breakfast was also a highlight of our stay. So delicious! And watching the birds whilst having breakfast was just joyful. A real gem of a place, thoroughly recommended to everyone.

This privately owned hotel rests in the heart of the picturesque Regency market town of Lymington, perfect for exploring the delights of the New Forest. The staff were all very friendly, professional, and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant and everything was great. The bed and comforter and pillows are super comfortable and it was the best night's sleep we got in over a week. The shower was great, the toiletries and towels were great. It was all wonderful. The location is convenient for walking to the Quay, shops, restaurants, etc. We drove to the Isle of Wight Ferry parking lot to take the ferry over for the day which was easy and convenient. We had stayed here before and will come back again.
