This converted and refurbished watermill offers chic, elegant and stylish accommodation in an idyllic 12-acre countryside setting near Newmarket and Cambridge. Excellent stay in one of the nook rooms overlooking the meadow. Very relaxing a peaceful and lots of little extras to make this a luxury stay. The room was very comfortable with the added bonus of a wood fired hot tub - not loads of storage space but we were only staying overnight sadly. We also had a meal in the main restaurant which was excellent, as was breakfast (served fresh, not buffet). We wouldn't hesitate to book again when we're in the area.

This is the second time we have stayed as we loved it so much. It’s a fabulous, relaxing little retreat for couples and the hosts are very nice. Delicious breakfast and the whole package feels very personal.

Around 4 miles from Sudbury, Rectory Manor offers provides elegant rooms with beautiful garden views. With a swimming pool and tennis court, it also offers free parking and Wi-Fi. Lovely bedroom comfy bed, with a claw foot tub in the bathroom, fantastic conversations with hosts and staff, great breakfast, successful car charge, we swam and played tennis, and a little piano too! Next time we will be staying more than one night!

The Abbey Hotel has independant access apartments and suites available which each have their own private entrance and private parking. Great location but also really quiet. It's such a historical beautiful building. Big room and a really comfy bed. Breakfast was made to order, and the choice was numerous. I love staying here.

We had an exceptional and unique experience at The Auberge, a hidden gem discovered during a spontaneous overnight stay. Having travelled from London, we found this charming spot unexpectedly and were delighted by the understated elegance of the accommodation. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped, including high quality bedding and towels which made for a very luxe feel. You could really see how much thought had been put into the presentation of the room. The bathroom had added safety features (suction bath mat and handle within shower) which were greatly appreciated. Luckily for us, on a Monday evening, the restaurant is reserved for guests only, and the meal well exceeded our expectations! Jason, who served them, was knowledgeable, dressed impeccably (including silver tray and white gloves!) and provided details about each dish and the locally sourced ingredients. And, unsurprisingly, breakfast followed suit, sans the silver tray and white gloves but certainly a great way to start our day! If we had arrived on a different night, we undoubtedly would have missed out on a reservation at the restaurant. So, if you're planning ahead for your stay, be sure to treat yourself to a fabulously memorable meal - just remember to book the restaurant in advance. This is definitely not your typical 'pub grub'! However, it is definitely a perfect venue worthy of celebrating a special occasion and was a truly memorable experience for us. We have nothing but high praise for Jason and Katie, the couple behind The Auberge, for their entrepreneurial spirit, dedication to their staff and commitment to quality. Their shared vision for excellence and growth is evident in their thoughtful and precise approach to the business. Their remarkable achievements in building their business in such a short time are highly commendable.

Mulleys Cottage (Bed and Breakfast) mempunyai pemandangan taman, WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma di Westleton, 22km dari Istana Framlingham. Mulleys Cottage was a lucky find for us, {a retired couple}. Quiet and small with excellent breakfast and the most wonderful host. Madeleine we will be back, Thank you for everything.

Situated in the village of Gillingham, the The Swan Motel, Gillingham offers a restaurant, a pub with billiards and darts, free WiFi access and free on-site parking. Highly recommend this lovely motel, very clean, beautifully decorated, very comfortable beds. Came in January but the grounds of the motel look like a wonderful place to sit out on a summer evening and relax. Owner is a lovely chap. Go and visit The Swan you'll not be disappointed 🙂
