We (a family with two teenagers) had an excellent stay. The hotel is located in the old town but set back just a few dozen meters from the restaurants, ensuring peace and quiet. The two-bedroom suite is very well designed, tastefully decorated, with comfortable bedding and an excellent bathroom. Very good Wi-Fi. Pleasant terrace (even though ours did not have a sea view). The breakfast is fabulous – compliments to the chef!

Everything was wonderful - welcoming staff, beautiful location, gorgeous room and delicious breakfast. It’s incredibly quiet and romantic, and luxurious without being fussy.

The staff was so helpful — provided lots of recommendations for dinner, the area, and for our exploration of the Mani Peninsula.

Big room, incredibly clean (cleaned every day) . Big bed, large terrace and a spare one for hanging wet stuff. Enough parking space. Staff always available. They greeted us some breakfast stuff on the table and in the fridge (bread, ham, cheese, butter, honey, tea, coffee, bottled water). Refilled coffee. One small suggestion - could use some shelves, especially in the bathroom.

Excellent hotel. Very friendly receptionist, authentic rooms, great view and sunset from our room (top floor). Central but very quiet at night. The room had everything we need for a short stay in Areopolis.

Wspaniałe miejsce, życzliwy, profesjonalny personel, klimatyczny basen, mnóstwo leżaków , każdy znajdzie miejsce tylko dla siebie. W pokoju szczoteczka do zębów, dla panów maszynka do golenia i mały żel w tubce, gąbki, jednorazowe kosmetyki. Pokój wyciszony perfekcyjnie.. Smaczne śniadania, obiadokolacje z wyborem z karty też bardzo dobre. Na zakończenie pobytu miła , smaczna niespodzianka.

Located in the Castle of Monemvasia, Ritsos Guesthouse offers stone-built accommodation with sea or garden views. Rooms and apartments at Guesthouse Ritsos are warmly decorated opening out to a patio.... THIS was our favorite stay and we stayed in 6 different locations in 11 days. We loved this little island..we explored the entire island..hiking every stairwell, ruin, hidden pathways and the perimeter. There are only a handful of restaraunts but I imagine they are all yummy. We peeked our heads into 4 of them and chose the one that felt right. They were all very welcoming and the food was yummy. We felt the prices for the hotel (UBER CHARMING) and the restaurants were very fair. The hostess' were delightful and the breakfast was delicious!

We were very happy with our apartment which is situated a few meters and a few stairs away from the Monemvasia main gate (please note that you have to carry your suitcases or backpacks because of the cobble stones). The apartment is nicely furnished, offers a great view on the ocean from the windows (+ from the bed :)) and also has amenities like a coffee machine & coffee tabs. The owners have a store downstairs where you can get the keys and buy their local products like olive oil, wine or skin care. We had some problems with noise from the opposite bar one night because they tend to play loud music on Saturdays and the hosts did all they can to make up for it, even though it was not their fault and we really appreciated it. In terms of hospitality, these were one of the nicest hosts we have met so far.
