Situated in the area of Halkidona, Maison Hotel offers rooms with LCD TV and free Wi-Fi access in all areas. It has a seasonal swimming pool and serves American breakfast. The room was great, recently renovated and comfortably furnished. Staff was fantastic. We arrived rather late in the evening and we received a very warm welcome. The kitchen staff made us a late night dinner which was to die for. Their pizza is really quite something else and if in doubt, it's the obvious choice, one of the best I had in a long while. Breakfast was also amazing.

Centrally located in Thessaloniki City, the neoclassical-style Orestias Kastorias is within walking distance of Aristotelous Square and the White Tower. Friendly family-run hotel in an excellent central location. I requested and was given a quieter room, which was very clean with good-sized bathroom/shower and a lovely balcony overlooking the Roman ruins. Wifi and AC worked well. Blackout curtains ensured a good night's sleep. Staff were so helpful with bringing my bag up the stairs and giving advice for restaurants, public transport, directions -- anything you need, they help you! Convenient location for airport bus and tour departures from Aristotle Square, both a five minute walk away.

On the second day they served me my coffee without even asking how i take it just taking note of what i asked for the day before! I have no words to elaborate further on the coziness combined with professionalism on this property. The epitome of value for money no doubt.

The Golden Star Hotel is a modern property situated on the beach of Peraia. It offers rooms with free WiFi and private balconies. The centre of Thessaloniki City is a 30-minute drive away. Hotel is located right on the beach, sunbeds are included. Nice beach bar. Very good breakfast, lots of options, restaurant is very clean, great views from the restaurant and terrace to the sea, nice music during breakfast, atmosphere, nice music during the day, on the terrace, as well. Not to loud, lounge atmosphere. Hotel is very clean, well maintained, rooms a cleaned-up every day, cleaning ladies are very nice. Beds are big, there are more pillows options if the ones offered do not suit you. A plus for us were the blackout drapes. Personnel is very welcoming, well trained, helpful. Perea is not very big, there are lots of restaurant options on the beach promenade. The hotel is located at the end of the promenade, so close to everything and at the same time quieter. The beach is not big, but nice, sandy and water is not deep at all, perfect for kids. It can be crowded during weekends, but during weekdays it was perfect. Very good options for families with kids, because it is very convenient and the hotel staff made our group feel welcome. Hotel offers also massage services with good prices. Unfortunately, we only got the offer on the last day of the stay and we did not use the service. Really enjoyed our stay here and we will be back.

A perfect example why a family run boutique hotel can be so much better than any luxury resort. Very rare 10 points from a very frequent traveller.

Ayia Marina Suites offer tastefully decorated accommodation with free WiFi, in Ouranoupoli. The hotel has a terrace and views of the sea. Location is perfect, easy to find, on the main street, but still quiet. Spacious and safe parking is behind the building, big and cozy terrace is in the front, overlooking the sea. All restaurants and shops are on a short walking distance. For pilgrims, the office for collecting “diamonitirion” (visitors permit) for the Holy Mount Athos is just 2-3 minutes away, across the street and next to the parking lot, on the way to the seafront and port, Nina and staff are excellent, friendly, professional, quick and cheerful. They were always there for us.
