Nestled on a rock above the sea, Boutique & Design Hotel Navis - Small Luxury Hotels of the World offers an outdoor pool and a luxury interior. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and a private beach just few steps from the hotel, as well as the spa centre. The historic core of Opatija is 2.5 km away. Navis is a boutique hotel with only 44-rooms. We stayed in a 1-bed suite on the 4th floor which is the top floor. The room is spacious, has a king-size bed, industrial modern style furnishings and an outstanding view of the sea. We had a bottle of Prosecco, water and a lovely bowl of assorted fruit awaiting for us in the room. I chose to include breakfast with our stay and it was incredible. In addition to the breakfast buffet options like bread, cheese, cold cuts, cereal, assorted juices, coffee/cappuccino fruit cups, prosecco, etc. Navis offers a separate menu with prepared to order options like omelettes, Eggs Benedict, avocado toast, sausage, etc. also included. See menu photos I included in my review. Breakfast is incredible and the chef/kitchen is very accommodating in creating options for dietary restricted guests. We had two vegans out of five people in our group and both were happy with the dinner meals that were prepared for them and the food available for them at breakfast. Lastly, which was pretty cool, our family in Croatia was able to pick us up in their boat from the Navis dock. What was truly impressive is a Navis staff person came down from the hotel to assist with guiding the boat to the dock and lend a hand getting us into the boat safely.

Its elegant rooms are decorated with design furniture and provide air conditioning and free WiFi. Ladies helping with breakfast. Delicious. Wonderful piano player at breakfast. Built in 2013 and situated in front of a beach, the Bevanda Hotel & Restaurant - Unique Adriatic offers luxurious rooms with free Wi-Fi and spacious furnished terraces overlooking the sea. It comprises an on-site gourmet restaurant with a selection of over 600 wines and champagnes. Your staff is very friendly. The room and location are perfect. Very nice view!

Located 900 metres from the centre of Lovran and just 20 metres from the nearest beach, Hotel Villa Astra is set in a quiet area, next to the 15-km long seaside promenade and consists of a main building and an annex. Buffet breakfast is available on site, as well as a Wellness Area. Free parking and free Wi-Fi are offered. A magnificent villa from the AUS-HUN monarchy overlooking a picturesque bay — you can literally jump into the crystal-clear, rocky sea right from the garden. The villa’s garden is beautiful, and the freshwater pool is heated. Breakfast exceeded all expectations. The bed in the room was extremely comfortable. A truly relaxing atmosphere. You can walk to the center of the charming little town in about 15 minutes along a picturesque seaside promenade. When we arrived around 9:30 PM, the owner welcomed us with a glass of local pálinka on the terrace and sat down to chat with us about the villa and the surrounding area.

Built in 1909 by a Viennese entrepreneur Anton Urm, this hotel has hosted numerous aristocratic guests, including the Austrian-Hungarian emperor Franz Joseph. It was rebuilt almost 80 years later, with attention to its original design and preserving a romantic atmosphere. Beautifull view over cost, good breakfasf and comfortable bed. Great to have swiming pool during hot, sunny days. Long way to see and City center but thanks that you feel like you have it for your own, more privacy. Big plus for creation/ reconstruction this old, history place.

Completely renovated in 2020 and housed in an Austro-Hungarian villa dating back to 1886, this 5-star hotel is situated amid a well-groomed St. Jacob Park in the centre of Opatija. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the property and the Slatina Beach is just 100 metres away. This was my best hotel experience ever. The room was luxurious, including robes and slippers. Customer service was beyond impeccable, including check-in with prosecco, first-class dinner service with delicious food, an unexpected bottle of prosecco at the end of our second day, and complimentary coffee and croissants at checkout. Note that the surprise prosecco was because we weren't able to book simultaneous massages at the spa next door, which brings up another point. Although this location is a small boutique hotel, guests have full access to the amenities at the larger, adjacent sister-hotel with free use of sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and pool plus a full menu of for-pay spa services. Some of the other extras may have been possible because our stay was during off/shoulder season but guests will be guaranteed royal treatment by wonderfully attentive management and staff.

All the air-conditioned rooms have private terraces at the sea side and there is free Wi-Fi available. Shuttle service can be provided upon request. You can also benefit from the safes in the rooms and the 24-hour room service. om the moment we arrived at Villa Vera, we were warmly welcomed by the kind receptionist, who made us feel right at home. The suite was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast each morning was fantastic. Our stay was truly enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommended!

Only 50 metres from the beach and the 12-km long seaside promenade, Villa Eugenia is located in the centre of the mediaeval Lovran, on the Opatija Riviera.

Built in 1910 in the Secessionist style, the villa consists of accommodation units with air conditioning, internet connection, a TV, minibar and a safe. A private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries is also provided in each unit. Some room types feature a balcony and sea view. Room, staff service and breakfasts.

Milenij blends the spirit of the historic tradition with contemporary design and decorations. Rooms are air-conditioned and come with a satellite TV and a minibar. Modern-style bathrooms include a hairdryer and free toiletries. Glamorous hotel 50 meters away from the statue of Girl with a seagull. Staff was amazing, polite, but not pushy at any moment. Room modern and clean, view to die for.

Featuring a wellness & spa centre, the newly renovated Hotel Bellevue - Liburnia is housed in a beautiful Empire-style building, as one of the oldest hotel it is considered a local landmark. Ideally set along the main street facing the sea, it offers free Wi-Fi and an à-la-carte restaurant. You can still feel the atmosphere of former luxury. What I liked best was the nice and personal behaviour of the staff at the reception and in the breakfast area.
