Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. This characterful property was full of quirks and personality. We really loved having access to common spaces (where we played some boardgames) and the owners kindly let some of our party stay late while the rest of us went horseback riding. They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy for breakfast, and my family members said the full Irish was amazing.

Comfortable beds, very spacious room, modern bathroom, lots of parking, walking distance to Bunratty Castle, welcoming guest lounge and patio, tasty breakfast, great staff in family run business.

The Cliffs of Moher Hotel is a contemporary boutique hotel situated in the fishing village of Liscannor, Co. Beautiful spot, close to Cliffs of Moher, lovely pubs and resto close by.

Despite some unfortunate airline delays, communication was easy and clear and we were able to arrange for a self check in after hours. Water, towels, toiletries and breakfast every morning was provided. It’s about an hour walk to the closest pub, which was not a problem for us, but something to keep in mind. Everything was phenomenal, we had a lovely stay and highly recommend booking with them!

Everything about Lorraine’s place was magical, it was like stepping into a fairytale! The house was GORGEOUS, the furniture breathtaking, the room was spacious, Lorraine was the sweetest and even though we had to leave much earlier than breakfast is served, she set out the most beautiful spread of a continental breakfast and even walked us out and chatted with us about the horses.

Just a 10-minute walk or a 1-minute drive from Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, Parkhouse B&B is set in beautiful landscaped gardens. Piękny dom położony na uboczu w cichej i spokojnej okolicy. Atmosfera w domu bardzo miła dzięki gospodarzom. Gospodyni zawsze serdeczna i uśmiechnięta, a gospodarz, nagradzany szef kuchni, przygotowuje pyszne śniadania na zamówienie. W miasteczku pub i kilka restauracji. Gorąco polecamy.

In a great location at Lahinch, close to the Cliffs of Moher, the Ocean and the Famous Links Golf, Vaughan Lodge is a small, family-owned run by 4th generation local hoteliers, Michael and Maria... We stayed at this hotel because we were looking for a 4 starts hotel near the cliffs, it wasn't easy because most places are 3 stars and less. The hotel is charming, run by a family who really cares about details and guests. Everything was comfortable, the stay was extremely nice, and since the coast of the Ocean is definitely worth visiting, we hit the tide and huge waves of the Atlantic, it was an almost epic experience! A place extremely worth visiting. Very nice stay.
