Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shamrock Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel located in the very centre of Ireland, just 5 minutes’ walk from the restaurants, bars, and nightlife of Athlone town... Rooms are enormous. Quiet, great location, big free parking space upfront. They were ready for a group check-in, all prepared so it took us less than 5 minutes for the whole group. Fantastic food, very affordable dinners.

In Athlone's lively centre, this 4-star Sheraton Hotel has a 20-metre pool, a luxury spa, free internet and free parking. Superb hotel. Staff, facilities, location. The room was brilliant. Would recommend the hotel Everytime.

Nestled in Monksland, a residential suburb of Athlone town, The Athlone Springs Hotel is less than a 6-minute drive from Athlone town centre. Lovely clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Had dinner in the restaurant both nights and it was excellent, as was the breakfast each morning.

Located in Athlone town centre, Arch House is just 2 minutes' walk from the historic Athlone Castle, Old Town, and River Shannon. Very warm friendly and helpful owners at this B and B and was pleased we stayed there. Was in a great location to all the sites in this gorgeous town. And thankyou for helping us find more accommodation in this town to stay another night. We loved this town.
