Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. Amazing place in the middle of the Burren, only a few minutes from Ballyvaughan, the Poulnabrone Dolmen or the Burren coast road. Old building with some antiques. Reading in the library near the fire place was so relaxing. Great irish breakfast, but you have the choice to have something else. We felt at home. Wolfgang and Maria are really nice. Located just 1.5 km from Killarney High Street, Gleann Fia Country House offers guests e car charging and free parking. Located on the river Deenagh with acres of wild garden. Conor made me feel so welcome. I had very early starts on both mornings and Conor ensured I had breakfast before I hit out. Excellent service and quality home made foods. Highly recommended.
