This quiet English-style retreat exudes old world charm, yet provides facilities like a spa and a gym.... The breakfast was great, including a variety of food, and the kind behavior of the kitchen staff. Everyone at the hotel was helpful and very willing to assist with my needs.

Sitting on the top of Pasumalai Hill, Gateway Madurai stretches over 62 acres of peaceful landscaped gardens. It has an outdoor pool, tennis courts, and an Ayurvedic treatment center. Stayed for a night wih my pet dog. Beautiful place on top of the hill with wonderful view. Very pleasant and welcoming staff. I was pleasantly surprised by the reception I received for for my pet as well. Room equipped with per bed and bowl was a very nice gesture in welcoming our furry babies. Took a room with a garden where my dog ran and played. Over all wonderful stay and it was beyond my expectations. Lucky to see peacocks freely roaming around. Will visit again for sure..
