Just 40 metres from Siena’s Piazza del Campo, B&B Il Corso is located on the first floor of a 16th-century building. It offers free Wi-Fi and elegant rooms. The disponibillity of the staff (i.e., Pietro) was fantastic: kind, resoursful, and very professional. The location and cleanes were impacapable. If I return to Siena, I will for sure stay here again.

Set 9 km from Siena, this 19th-century country house features a restaurant and outdoor pool. It offers traditional Tuscan rooms with wood-beamed ceilings, surrounded by sunflower fields. Check-in was extremely quick and easy. The staff were extremely knowledgeable on the area and provided a map with proposed itineraries with QR codes describing them in greater detail. They also recommended some lesser-known local sites worth visiting during our stay. The breakfast was phenomenal, with various pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, fresh fruits, juices, and yogurt. There was more, but overall the freshness and quality were top notch. We had dinner at their restaurant every night, which gave us a wide variety of local tastes. Honestly, we tried 80% of the menu and everything was great! This is a great spot to relax outside the city, but still close enough for day trips anywhere in Tuscany.

For people arriving by car, the fact that is 50 meters distance from the city entrance is quite handy since you cannot get to the hotel by car. Breakfast was also amazing with breathtaking views from the Tuscany landscape.

Hotel Pescille Country House - Tuscany Charme is set in an old farmhouse in the Tuscan countryside, 5 minutes' drive from San Gimignano. It offers a large garden with swimming pool, and free parking. Very beautiful hotel with good amenities. The room we booked was very big. Breakfast was super good as well. And it’s like 5 minutes away by car from the main entrance to San Gimignano.

Dating back to the 11th century, Leon Bianco is in Piazza della Cisterna, one of San Gimignano’s main squares. During summer, breakfast is served on the quiet, relaxing terrace. The property was beautiful and very clean! The staff were amazing. They went out of the way to assist with travel arrangements.

Borgo Grondaie is a large property built out of an old Tuscan farm, just 2 km from the historical centre of Siena. Beautiful room and very friendly staff!
