The large room with full kitchen. Serena went out of her way to help me get a pair of pants hemmed. Very responsive to questions and made excellent suggestions for travel to other sites. Very good value.

Hotel Duomo is just 15 steps up the stone stairway from Orvieto's majestic Gothic Cathedral. All rooms feature air conditioning, an LCD TV with DVD player, and a small table with 2 chairs. Wonderful location, extremely friendly staff, room was perfect with air-conditioning.

Hotel Il Palazzo is set in the left wing of Palazzo Bartocci Fontana, a 16th-Century building halfway between Assisi's Basilica of Saint Francis and Piazza del Comune square. Fantastic location in the very center of Assisi, simple but beautiful Italian design inside, very friendly members of staff, easy to reach by car, very good breakfast. It is highly recommend to take a room with a view, you will not regret it.
