Boasting various hot spring baths, hot tubs and an indoor swimming pool, Daiichi Takimotokan is historic accommodation with Japanese-style guest rooms. Staying at this hotel was the highlight of our trip to Japan. It was our first onsen experience, so I was a bit nervous about the rules and etiquette, but in the end, we enjoyed every minute of it. There are so many baths to choose from, and all the areas are very well maintained. My partner mentioned that the men’s side had a beautiful view of Hell Valley—you can actually sit in the bath and take it all in. We used the onsen early in the morning and late at night, so it never felt crowded. I also really appreciated that they provided a full range of shampoos and skincare products to use after your soak. Our room was on the main building, it was spacious and spotlessly clean. Since we stayed two nights, they let us know they would clean the room at 11 a.m. on our second day. We left at 10:55 and returned briefly at 11:25 to grab something—and by then, the entire room and bathroom were already cleaned, everything replaced, and even new sets of yukatas laid out. I couldn’t believe how fast and efficient they were! If you're planning to visit Noboribetsu, I highly recommend staying at this hotel. The others didn’t look nearly as nice from the outside and didn’t seem to offer much in terms of views. This one is absolutely worth every penny.

Located at the picturesque boulevard of the Otaru Canal, Hotel Nord offers comfortable accommodation and panoramic mountain views. The hotel features a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the... I really liked the lady who greeted us upon arrival—she was very kind and helpful. The man at the front gate was also wonderful; he voluntarily offered to take our photos and did so with great care, ensuring every shot looked great. The hotel's antique decor perfectly complements Otaru's charming atmosphere. The location is excellent, as it's right by the beautiful Otaru Canal, where we had planned to take a walk and capture some photos.

Hotel Gracery Sapporo is connected to the Sapporo Train Station, a 10-minute walk from Sapporo Clock Tower. It offers modern accommodation with massage services and free internet. The location is excellent (next to Sapporo Station), making it very convenient for transfers, joining tours, or shopping. The room facilities are well-equipped (especially the women's rooms!!), and the breakfast is abundant. The rooms are very clean and extremely comfortable to stay in. Overall, I am very satisfied!
