Boasting various hot spring baths, hot tubs and an indoor swimming pool, Daiichi Takimotokan is historic accommodation with Japanese-style guest rooms. It is an amazing experience. Having the Onsen available is a great perk and a reason to spend a lot of time in the hotel. I stayed in one of the traditional rooms and the beds on the floor were very comfy. Breakfast and Dinner are very good. I recommend eating in the hotel as it is more comfortable and perhaps the best option in the vicinity. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Terletak betul-betul di depan Otaru Canal yang indah, Hotel Sonia menawarkan bilik-bilik yang luas dan WiFi percuma di kawasan awam. Jalan Sushi berada hanya dalam jarak 3 minit berjalan kaki. My luggage was accidently broke during travel. Ive got a lot of information from hotel staff about leaving it there by buying a big rubbish sticker at convenience store. Very helpful!!!

I really liked the lady who greeted us upon arrival—she was very kind and helpful. The man at the front gate was also wonderful; he voluntarily offered to take our photos and did so with great care, ensuring every shot looked great. The hotel's antique decor perfectly complements Otaru's charming atmosphere. The location is excellent, as it's right by the beautiful Otaru Canal, where we had planned to take a walk and capture some photos.
