Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Very welcoming staff and overall nice atmosphere in a beautiful house. The dorm room was spacious. Inclusion of curry for dinner and simple breakfast are a great plus for the price. The location is perfect, close to the floating Tori gate. I didn't use any of the onsen but it's nice they provide this facility.

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. Our traditional tatami room was super cute! The staff were very friendly, and the public spa was great too. We also loved the small sweet surprise waiting for us.

Es sind zwar Futons, aber sie sind dicker als gewöhnlich. Man schläft sehr gut. Die Aussicht aufs Meer ist toll. Das Personal ist freundlich.

Das im April 2014 nach Renovierungsarbeiten wiedereröffnete Miyajima Morinoyado bietet komfortable Zimmer und ein geräumiges öffentliches Bad. Amazing hotel just outside of the crowd. Sleeping was so comfortable. Having an opened window for a night is so enjoyable and rare for Japan.
