The Belle Rive is a 5-minute drive from Night Market and National Museum. The location was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. A special shout out to Somphone who made excellent suggestions on our itinerary and went out of his way to change our train tickets. All the staff were exceptional.

Housed in a lovely building with wooden interiors, the hotel has a 24-hour front desk providing a safety deposit box and luggage storage facilities. Staff can assist with travel information and laundry services. Really great place to stay in LP. It's set on a hill, and there's a large, open space of grass and garden with tables you can sit at and chill. The rooms were really large by LP standards (this was my 4th time in LP) and were nice and bright, but also had a traditional feel in the villa as a whole. The staff are nice (which isn't unusual, since everyone you meet in Laos is super nice and charming :). Breakfast was pretty basic, but they do eggs to-order, which was nice. Coffee was good, too. In terms of location, it's a quiet street, and if you turn left at the top of the road, you go up to the start of the market-street area where all the restaurants are, and if you go right, you hit the river. So the location is excellent.
