El Holbox by Xaloc está ubicado en la hermosa isla de Holbox, tiene acceso directo a la playa Norte y ofrece habitaciones y bungalows de lujo con terraza. The overall experience is well worth it. I think they fit more into the category of a very good inn than a hotel, but that wasn't a problem. The location is one of the strong points, right on the beachfront and very close to downtown Holbox. The beach in front of the hotel is clean, free of rocks and seaweed, so you can enjoy the sea right in front of the hotel. The room is large and comfortable, although a small investment in some amenities could improve the experience inside. We stayed in the apartment, but there are also bungalows. The hotel has two swimming pools: one for adults only, in front of the beach and with a bar, and one at the back of the property, which is for families. We didn't use the adult pool with the bar, only the children's pool. The only downside is that there are few chairs and loungers. And if you stay in a bungalow near the family pool, you'll hear children playing all day. Breakfast is a huge plus; you can choose from a variety of dishes, from Mexican favorites to more traditional options like eggs and fruit. The portions are generous, so if you're traveling with your family, you can mix and match and everyone can have a little bit of everything. Tahamara, the staff member, was very attentive.

Everything :) the staff was super nice, especially Clara made us feel welcome immediately. It’s close the the most important things in the city in our opinion which is the beach and Quinta Avenida which is where a lot of shops and restaurants are located.

The staff and location were great. Close to the beach and the main shopping and restaurant. They had fresh bottle water in the apartment, umbrella for the beach, and the balcony and air condition were wonderful.

Este establecimiento aislado se encuentra a las afueras de la localidad de Tulum, a poca distancia en taxi de la playa. El establecimiento está rodeado de jardines tropicales. Should be called Don Diego de los Pájaros! I did my birdwatching with a cup of coffee at the pool. Imagine a collared aracari in this green oasis in a busy part of Tulum. Hosts were very nice and helpful, for instance with their maps of their favorite restaurants and the best attractions. Breakfast under the thatched roof is wonderful.
