The room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. The cleanliness of the room was comparable to some 5-star hotels we have stayed in, just without the bells and whistles. The portable heater worked well and kept us warm. The owners clearly take pride in what they do. They were always warm, polite, and welcoming, with a smile on their faces every time we saw them. The hotel restaurant was excellent, tasty meals at a good price. No need to eat anywhere else. It is also in a great location, only a few minutes' walk to the town centre. Would happily stay again. A solid 10 out of 10 from us!

Great stay at Killawasi, very comfortable and clean. Jose was always helpful. A lovely place to switch off for a few days.

Comfortable rooms with cosy rustic style-decor and mountain views are offered in Cabanaconde. An American breakfast is included and there is an on-site restaurant with a la carte dishes. It was quite chilly, and the hotel provided plenty of super warm blankets. The staff was helpful. The water was hot.

Featuring a new indoor pool, a garden and an on-site bar, Tradicion Colca offers rural accommodation in Yanque, 7 km from Chivay. The staff was very helpful, and breakfast was very satisfying. We also enjoyed the restaurant on site. The observatory was a great plus. We could easily walk to the town of Yanque.
