Hotel Meliá Castelo Branco is located on a hilltop, offering panoramic views of Castelo Branco. It features a health club with an indoor pool, sauna and Turkish bath. We booked it because it was the only hotel with a swimming pool in the city, even f it was interior. In the heat of summer, that was needed. We were surprised to discover the exterior swimming pool had opened the week before. And what a swimming pool! An absolutely stunning view, a beautifully conceived pool and exterior area.
