Situated among 18th and 19th century villas in a park setting, this charming hotel is 3 minutes’ walk from Kalmar Castle. Free WiFi is available. This hotel is an absolute dream. The location is perfect, and both the exterior and interior are stunning. The rooms are beautiful, the beds unbelievably comfortable, and every detail feels carefully thought out. The staff are warm, welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help. Breakfast was fresh, delicious and set in a lovely space. A wonderful stay from start to finish — highly recommend.

Housed in an old harbour warehouse, the Home Hotel Packhuset boasts spectacular views of the Kalmar Sound and the Öland Bridge. Some rooms feature exposed wooden beams, timber walls and free WiFi. Abbiamo soggiornato soltanto una notte in due camere separate disposte in due ali differenti della struttura; la camera matrimoniale è grande e spaziosa, ma un po’ datata e con macchie sulla moquette mentre la camera uso singolo è nuovissima e ben arredata anche se si trova in uno spazio separato in fase di ristrutturazione con bidoni della vernice e materiale edilizio appoggiato nei corridoi. Posizione comoda per visitare il centro con parcheggio davanti all’ hotel. Cena e colazione comprese nel prezzo favolose, con cibo di ottima qualità! Staff disponibile e gentilissimo!

Stanza molto bella, letto comodissimo, parcheggio moto gratuito. Immerso nella bellissima campagna svedese con annesso lago che non poteva mancare. Superba la colazione in varietà e abbondanza.

Hotell Hamnen is in Färjestaden and features scenic views over the Kalmarsund Strait from all rooms. Rooms here will provide you with a flat-screen TV, balcony and sea views. Location was fantastic! Happy that was possible to stay with dog.
