Situated 3 km to The Bridge on the River Kwai, Good Times Resort Kanchanaburi features free Wi-Fi throughout. Boasting an outdoor pool, the resort provides free public parking on site. Really great resort for an exotic feeling holiday in an interesting location. Great start point for trips to local national parks. A great restaurant on site sadly closed on one night of our stay for a wedding.

P.Y. Guest House is 200 meres from JEATH War Museum. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and free drinking water. The guesthouse has very nice and original decor decor and furnishings and the rooms are very nice and comfortable. It is also within walking distance of both the bus and minivan station and the train station (although the latter is half an hour's walk away). The owner - a local woman - is very helpful and forthcoming, and she's also one of few communicative Thais with a genuine interest in foreigners that I came across on my two trips to Thailand: once I even asked her to call a bike rental shop to let them know that I would return the bicycle I was renting from them later than agreed, as unfortunately I cannot speak Thai, and she kindly obliged. Not to mention that her husband was twice kind enough to give me and other guests a ride to the minivan and bus station so that I did not have to pay for a tuk tuk.

The staff goes all the way for you. You can rent a bike free of charge and the location is absolutely great near the river Kwai Bridge. I defenitely recommend!

Great breakfast buffet, best restaurant in the area, great food choice, nice pool, friendly staff, mostly from Myanmar. Located 1.9 km from The Jeath War Museum, Hop Inn Kanchanaburi offers accommodation with air conditioning and city views. Throughout the stay, guests have access to free WiFi. very clean, friendly staff and the location was good. very good value for money.

The location on the hillside overlooking the beautiful lake is stunning, the boat ride in the late afternoon towards the sundown was also a highlight. Reception and employees all very friendly. (with one exception, see dinner)

Royal Resort and Spa is a beautiful hotel located along the banks of River Kwai. It features spacious accommodation with private balconies and the luxury of an outdoor pool. The property and staff were great.
