The Hotel is powered by an inverter and solar panels for full service during load shedding times. The rooms have lighting outside on their patio's as well as inside the rooms. Beautifull location. Friendly staff, accomodated our needs as we hiked early morning. Cozy beds and grate coffee. Thanks for everything we appreciate the extra mile.

We came for the shark diving right across the street and stayed for two nights. Super helpful owner booked us great restaurants in the area. The room was spacious with a large terrace with sea view.

Situated in Hermanus, this 4-star guest house offers modern rooms overlooking the garden, the mountains or the sea. Bamboo Guest House features an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi. This is a peaceful, bright, airy, fairly spaceous yet comfy & cosy place to stay. It is immaculatley clean & nicely decorated. I was immediately made to feel at home & I did. I asked for gluten free bread & it was provided (& it didn't look like shop bought bread, so I assume they had to search for it). They really take care with food intolerances/allergies which is such a lovely respite from the usual ignorance I encounter. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice & lovely tea. The bar is well stocked with variuos beers, ciders, spirits & wines etc. The bed was super comfy, the bathroom big enough to party in, the shower cubicle could fit a baby elephant & low level ,dim LEDs came on when the bathroom door opened. They even provided european socket adapters without me asking, again, very thoughtful. It was still winter when I visited it must be great to be in the garden in warmer weather. This would be a great choice for large families or small groups of friends too.

Kapensis Guesthouse offers accommodation with a touch of African style within a natural reserve, just outside Pringle Bay. The owners of the guesthouse were kind and accommodating. They asked us if we needed something from the shop when they went there to buy some things. When we required accessible rooms in the booking process, they contacted us and sent us some videos to make sure their accommodation was OK for us. The toilet and the shower/bathtub could be challenging for some wheelchair users but it worked for us. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and clean, with large windows that offered us stunning views. The whole facility has the aura of tranquility. If we stayed in the area for longer time, we would like to spend a day just at the guesthouse relaxing and enjoying the views. If you are there by car (which is the only option, I would say), Betty's Bay penguins are really close. The hosts told us about some other wheelchair accessible attractions, for example the Harold Porter Botanical Garden.

78on5th is a boutique guest house bordering Fernkloof Nature Reserve, 5 minutes’ walk from Grotto Beach. Rooms feature private balconies with views of the mountains or the Atlantic Ocean. The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. The hosts were extremely helpful and generous.
