I only stay in hostels with rooms for 4,plus a private bathroom. The accommodation is excellent here, and is a steal for city centre Madrid. Very modern place, with really good lifts, and nice decor and design. The young women on the desk are exceptionally friendly and helpful. All bilingual and knowledgeable about the surroundings. The breakfast is outstanding with a huge range of freshly cooked dishes, breads, and croissants, plus various cereals, honey, and other things. The coffee machines are fabulous eg there are 6, different flavours of cappuccino!!! The bar is really nice and the lounge is comfortable. I've stayed at different times over the last few years, and I will be back next March. I only know one other hostel as good and it is in Bangkok. Nothing else I've seen in Europe, Asia, Australia etc compares to OK.
