After I checked out, I went to the train station, and was seated on the train, when there the great 2025 Blackout of Spain, Portugal, and France occurred. I walked back to the hotel (almost 3 hours, long story) and they worked to get me a room and something to eat and something to drink, and escorted me up 5 flights of stairs to make sure I made it. I really felt loved. In the morning the staff was still there.

The staff were so so sweet! They rly reach out to you and make you feel at home in another country. As a solo female traveler, it can be intimidating to be in a place where I don’t speak the language. Ken went out of his way to look out for me and to make sure I was taken care of so I could just focus on enjoying myself. While Madrid was amazing, the hostel was beyond incredible and the wonderful people are what I will remember most of Madrid. If you can, stay here.

Large spacious apartment with 2 bathrooms! Had a full kitchen and washing machine too. Just off Gran Via so very close to shops and eateries. Providing laundry powder or liquid would have be my only suggestion for improvement. A lovely friendly host met us to give us the keys and let us leave our bags in the apartment early which was very helpful.

Location was great just off the main street and abt 5-10 mins walk to both Tribunal and Bilbao Metro stations. Good food choices available (especially Art Cafe nearby) and groceries stores (Lidl and 2 Carrefours). Staff was very helpful as well. They were on-site within a very short time after reporting issue with one of the blinds via WhatsApp. Online communications was great too. Luggage storage is available too for before and after stay.

It was well located. The living area was comfortable. It had a lift and a very functional kitchen. The best thing about the property is the host, Gunther. I have never come across someone so hospitable and responsive before. Accommodated a late checkout, responded to queries immediately, stored our luggage on his own apartment so we could explore the city before catching a late flight.

The apartments are located in a good area, there is a metro station nearby and you can reach all the main tourist destinations by foot. The apartments have two floors, well equipped with everything you need during the stay, clean and modern. The check-in is remote via electronic keys which is, to my mind, is a good advantage. You can ask questions to the host any time and he is always ready to help. We’ll be happy to stay here next time we are in Madrid.

We were a big family of 6 adults and 2 small children and the apartment was perfect for us. It has all we needed - fully equipped kitchen, big and comfortable beds and a lift. The location was perfect - very close to the center and Gran Via and in the same way quite and safe. There are a lot of bars, restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
