Paradise. It embodies Japanese refinement with special attention to the smallest details. The room was beautiful , comfortable and having our own private onsen was a big plus. The staff was outstanding bending over backwards to please. The kaiseki was grand , the food was delicious. The gracious lady who served all our meals went to great length to explain every single ingredient and course.

A truly beautiful ryokan with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The room was very spacious and well-equipped with plenty of amenities. The onsen has three private baths that guests can access freely without any reservation, and since they are private, tattoos are not an issue. A really lovely experience!

After hiking at kamakochi; very nice onsen, all you can eat buffet with traditional japanese food, very comfy bed, japanese style room, massage chairs, you get japanese pyamas where you can walk all day in (even to the restaurant). Completly relaxing.
